Censorship
Censorship is a bunch of bull because when the censor they don't do the censoring that's needed the go censor happy. Just look at t.v. now compared a decade ago when this started happening. Now there is no more Tom & Jerry which was a great show with all those great action packed scenes. so censor is crock and should be toned down

i agree. they let words through that parents have to explain to their kids, but at the same time, the ruined sesame street. the is no more oscar the grouch. he is just oscar. and the cookie moster eats fruit now too. what the h*** is wrong with this picture. it is no longer entertainment. sesame street is a sad excuse where parents can set their kids to watch disillusioned characters.
agreed, Tom and Jerry was a great show, keep that stuff on tv! You should probably picket about it.
Well, you're right in a sense.
And there is still Tom & Jerry, they just don't show the violence, it's implied but not shown.
And did you hear, that the Cookie Monster from Sesame Street is now the Veggie Monster?! Whattt!
Yeah, that kind of censorship is just ridiculous. If parents don't want their kids to see a cartoon cat and mouse beating on each other, then put on a different channel, but don't censor it!
Some censorship isn't bull though, I'm glad tv isn't as dirty as it could be and I'm glad movies have ratings. Think about how open everything would be if there was absolutely NO censorship, it'd be a little chaotic here.
It's because we're more and more becoming a society that depends on it's government to do our work for us. If you want this to stop I suggest you all start looking more towards electing people that don't want the government to be involved in every facet of our lives. Or write angry letters telling your favorite TV writers to start ignoring the media censors forever. Standing up to an ideal is more valuable than money people.
I also agree, Tom and Jerry was a great show. It is kind of sad in a way. That is the way censorship is comming to be.
